Destiny 2 is coming only by 2017
Bungie has confirmed in the developer’s latest weekly update that Destiny 2 will definitely launch in 2017, hot on the heels of an as-yet-unnamed expansion for Destiny coming late 2016.
The publisher did not disclose exactly what players can expect to see in the upcoming expansion, nor did they provide any details about the game’s sequel. “And collecting/firing an assortment of digital firearms has never felt so good”.
Bungie’s community manager David “Deej” Dague mentioned the news in the company’s weekly blog post for “Destiny”. The upcoming content release will feature a significant Light increase, new gear, and new challenges for PvE players.
Destiny has been languishing ever since its excellent The Taken King expansion released in the fall of past year.
Bungie and Activision seemingly still have substantial content for 2016, though. This year, the plan is to deliver new experiences at a faster clip.
